We are an established and growing childrenswear company seeking an Assistant Designer. Responsibilities include:
Assisting Design Director with all day to day tasks
Creating Tech Packs for all styles to be sent to overseas vendors
Art re-sizing
Manage Line Development process using tracking reports and extensive communication with vendors
Revisions to techpacks and samples
Cad sketching from concept as well as magazine tears, pictures, etc.
Participate in fittings with technical designers and communicate with design and production team on specs and pattern issues
Create and update line sheets and look books.
Manage design reference room and materials
Assist design department in overall product development process
MUST be proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop and have a minimum of 2 years experience in a related position.
